18th Vilano Easter Sunrise Service
Vilano Beach- Sunday, April 1, 2018, 7 – 7:45 a.m.

Easter morning on Vilano Beach, we host a sunrise service to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Meditational music starts at 6:30 a.m., worship service at 7:00 a.m. Sunrise is at 7:14 a.m. Park in the Publix lot, along the street and other places you are directed. Bring chairs, cameras, blankets, & friends. Our pastor Glen McCutcheon will lead in the service with Jayce Ginn & 1st Methodist Praise Team, & interpretive dancers from SADC, Jonathan & Meghan Chapman. If possible, ocean baptism will follow. Thanks to all of our volunteers! Praise be to God!

Go behind-the-scenes and below-the-decks of Marineland Dolphin Adventure! Their Behind the Seas Tour offers an exclusive backstage look at our facility and animal habitats, and an opportunity to explore their unique and fascinating history spanning over 75 years.

From their beginnings as an underwater film studio to their new, modern facility, Marineland Dolphin Adventure has been creating memories for generations. Along with their many advancements over the years, guests will learn about Marineland’s pioneering work in aquatic animal research and advancement of life support systems for aquatic environments. 

The Behind the Seas tour also features new exhibits with animals native to the Southeast region of the United States, and an opportunity to learn the importance of the Gulf Stream, ecosystems and conservation. Guests will also discover facts about invasive species and their effects on aquatic populations along the eastern seaboard, such as lion fish, green moray eels, jellyfish and lobsters. 

Pricing (includes General Admission):
Adult (ages 13-59): $26.95
Child (ages 3-12): $16.95
Seniors (ages 60+): $25.95

Length of tour: approximately 45 minutes. Daily tours run at 10 a.m, 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. & the final tour runs at 3:20 p.m.

Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays Historic Weapons Demonstrations
Castillo de San Marcos- 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.

 National Parks Service personnel demonstrate the weapons and relate the experiences of the Colonial Spanish soldier stationed in St. Augustine in 1740′s. Demonstration times are 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. throughout the year. Firing times are subject to change depending on weather conditions and staff availability. The Castillo de San Marcos, the oldest masonry fortification in the U.S., was built by the Spanish in 1672 to help protect their empire in the New World.

Admission is $10 for adults- valid for 7 consecutive days. Children 15 and under are free but must be accompanied by an adult.

St. Augustine Easter Parade
Sunday, April 1, 2018, starts at 3 p.m.

Experience the famous St. Augustine Easter Parade featuring horse-drawn carriages, marching bands, floats, drill teams, the Easter Bunny and St. Augustine’s Royal Family. The parade begins at 3 p.m. at the Authentic Old Jail Museum, 167 San Marco Ave., and travels through downtown St. Augustine.
