St. Jorge Tobacco
As we walked in, cigar smoke instantly engulfed us bringing to mind grandfathers and the olden days of parlors. We took to perusing by first checking out some of the stores non-tobacco offerings. With everything from Lampe Berger to Tiffany Style lamps, St. Jorge Tobacco carries all the must haves for a cigar smoker’s home. They even have smoke odor eliminating candles! Behind glass, they also carry a wide selection of beautifully handcrafted wood tobacco pipes and the ever-popular Zippo lighters. As far as cigars go, there is more than plenty to choose from. There is a selection of Cigar brands included Arturo Fuente, Cuban Coronas, Chateau Fuentas, Canones, Curly Heads, Rothchilds, Double Chateaus, Exquisitos and more. They carry the complete line of Padron Cigars as well as a vast selection of Ashton premium cigars. With over 40 brands in their humidor, every cigar enthusiast is sure to find just what they’re looking for. Need a push in the right direction? Don’t fear, there are plenty of regulars who hang out on a normal basis smoking their cigars and drinking coffee. They definitely know their stuff and are as friendly as can be. After checking out their selection, Dan chose to go with a mango flavor Zig Zag Cigarillo and a Kuba Deluxe Acid Cigar, although we ended up walking out with much more. Turns out, tradition states when you purchase the last cigar in the box, you acquire the cigar box An old favorite, Dan really enjoyed the Zig Zag Mango Cigarillos. Nothing special, but he finds the hint of mango to be particularly satisfying. The real treat came with the Kuba Deluxe Acid Cigar. Flavored with a hint of floral, Dan really enjoyed smoking the Nicaraguan stogie. It seemed to be the perfect choice for an unseasoned cigar smoker.
