Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays Historic Weapons Demonstrations
Castillo de San Marcos- January 1 – December 31, 2015, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.

 National Parks Service personnel demonstrate the weapons and relate the experiences of the Colonial Spanish soldier stationed in St. Augustine in 1740′s. Demonstration times are 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. throughout the year. Firing times are subject to change depending on weather conditions and staff availability. The Castillo de San Marcos, the oldest masonry fortification in the U.S., was built by the Spanish in 1672 to help protect their empire in the New World.

Admission is $10 for adults- valid for 7 consecutive days. Children 15 and under are free but must be accompanied by an adult.

First Friday Garden Walk
Washington Oaks Gardens State Park- 1st Friday of each month, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

 

Join them on the First Friday of each month for a ranger led Garden and History Tour of Washington Oaks Gardens State Park.  

Visitors will meet in the Garden parking lot and the walk will begin at 10am.  Wear comfortable shoes for this 45min-1 hour walking tour.  Program included with park entry.

The St Augustine Lions Seafood Festival features tons of delicious food, outstanding entertainment and affordable arts & crafts.
